Ladies Section Fitness
Pre-season fitness will be taking place on Thursdays at 19:30. Talk to Kev (07920 017999) or Max (07763 774727) for more details.
Weeks 4, 5 and 6
Week 4 saw us head to St Catherine's Hill, week 5 was an enjoyable CV endurance session and on week 6 we worked hard on speed endurance. Next week brings an SAQ madness session before we return to St Catherine's Hill the following week. The sessions are a great opportunity for you to work on and improve your personal levels of fitness and don't forget they are free!! Following the session everyone receives a personal email reviewing their performance helping you to set personal targets. This is also displayed on the laptop during the session by numbers so it is completely anonymous. If you have yet to get involved please do try and pop down. The sessions are put on for the whole of the ladies section so come and join in the fun...Great Start!
Great start to pre-season fitness, 3 weeks in, 2 circuit sessions and a maximal exertion session completed, along with some ropey crab football! The sessions are building nicely in intensity and thank you to those guys who have attended so far. If you have yet to attend then please do try and make the effort as the sessions are good fun and the more people that are there the easier it is for those participating.Thanks to Max who has worked hard in the preparation of the sessions and the data feedback from the heart rate monitors has been interesting reading. All of you should have your individual feedback from Max but we will also post data summaries on here for your viewing pleasure as well.
Week 4 see’s us embark on our first St Catherine’s Hill run and Max and I look forward to seeing you there!
