U12G trip to Lee Valley 2020
A superb day was had by eight of the U12 girls squad today as they visited Lee Valley Hockey Centre to watch the ladies and mens GB Hockey teams take on Chile and Malaysia respectively.
Despite the November weather, the atmosphere at Lee Valley was great and as ever the hockey was intensive, energetic and very physical.
An inspiration to us all, the non-stop approach to the game was something to admire.
We wish the GB teams the best of luck in their Olympic journey. Congratulations to both teams on qualification. Bring on Tokyo 2020.
Thank you to the coaches who made this possible and to the girls who made the day such a pleasure. Next up two matches this coming weekend - question is whether the U12 girls will have been inspired to play faster and smarter!
